Northwestern is clearly much improved. Gonna be a tough game for Illinois later in the season

(no clue whether or not he had one taken off with the unsportsmanlike penalty).

John Mateer is having a horror show in Athens. Lost a fumble for a scoop and score when the ball slipped from his hands, then threw one up for grabs that was picked. He’s just not very good. Hype machine was way overdone for him.
