  25. Georgia Tech (NR)

Pretty big fall for South Carolina and Clemson, but I don’t know how you keep them in the top 25 after the beginning of the seasons they’ve had.

I think the Illini will be either 8 or 9. The Illini will pass ND, but there is a chance A&M passes us with their road win in South Bend. Either way, we will be top 10 going to Bloomington!

SEC gonna be all over the poll this week. Remarkable depth this year even if they're not as top heavy. Conference play should be pretty rough for them.

A&M isn’t going to pass us when we won by 5+ TD’s. If it was closer than there may have been a chance.
Not saying they will, but early season polls tend to be highly volatile. I feel fairly confident Illini will be 8, but I would not be totally surprised if they remain 9.

Not that the voters actually watch the games, but the Illini have looked unimpressive in the first halves of the past two games. The real tests come in the next two games.

Winless Notre Dame staying in the rankings over a number of decent 3-0 squads is ridiculous.

Yeah, when does losing count? Ranked 21st in coaches, almost in the top 20, without a win yet.

With the AP writers, it's ALWAYS about the Blue Bloods. The historically good 'Brands'... Changing perceptions of these guys takes generations, not just a few games over a couple of seasons...

FSU moves up 3 spots AND jumps ahead of us when they didn't even play this weekend?!?! Make it make sense!!
The argument which I completely disagree with will be Alabama has looked great in the 2 weeks since; therefore the win against Alabama is looking even better…

We just gotta handle the next 2 weeks and we will be in a great spot - our path is pretty simple
