Iowa's key to victory sure seems to be forcing turnovers. I think if you can somehow win the turnover battle against them you should stand a chance to win.

What does that make us, by the transitive property...and IRL? Oh forget that, let's beat CHarlotte and see if we can get some momentum in the right direction.
This Illini team can't get caught up on past results. We aren't going to win much this year and probably next year. They need to work on winning individual plays at a time and use that to build confidence. Once we can string a game of positional wins together we can start to worry about what our record is.

It makes us a perfect barometer for determining which are the easy bets to win. When we have a team on the ropes and give it away at the end and theyā€™re only 3 point dogs to a team like Iowa, load up.

We might could have a shot vs Rutgers based on their performance so far today. OSU's a top 15 team, but Rutgers just looks inept for the most part. 45-6 at the half?

Final score in Murray, KY: Murray State 22 EIU 6

EIU falls to 1-5 overall on the season in a game that did not count in the conference standings as part of scheduling the OVC had to do following the sudden departures of Eastern Kentucky and Jacksonville State.

EIU is on bye next week and returns to action in two weeks on October 16th when they will host UT-Martin. Kick-off is set for 2:00 PM and the game will air on ESPN+.
