It’s like we are living in some kind of alternate universe. Any time an Illini player’s helmet touches an opposing player’s helmet, it’s targeting. Any other players can take a sledgehammer to a guy’s head and it’s not.

That's my explanation. It's something only Illinois players can do. It sucks but the guy lowered his head, led with the crown, and contact was completely helmet to helmet. It's targeting, player is ejected. Had Miles Scott did that, absolutely targeting no question. But just shows refs can call whatever they want.

Does anyone do less with more than Franklin? That team is just absurdly loaded with talent year after year and not much to show for it.
Indeed. He's my pick for whatever NFL team drafts him highly wasted their pick. He has a phenomenal line, any average line and I see him struggling. Ceiling is Trent Dilfer in my opinion, a competent game manager.
