I find MSU's situation mesmerizing. Tucker gets a $95 mil 10 year contract after going 2-3 in the pros, 5-7 at Colorado, 2-5 at MSU, and then the spectacular 11-2 season. He was as hot a coach as there was, but that kind of money seemed insane to me. Makes me wonder how it will play out now that they've inked such a long term deal and he's likely to start 0-3 in the conference.

I agree, thought that extension was a HUGE knee jerk reaction to what seemed like a hum drum hire.

Pretty sure they were just there for Florida.
Going to locations twice in the same season isn't that unusual for Gameday. They just go wherever the biggest game is, with the occasional cutesy side journey to D3 or Wrigley Field or whatever.

I'd be shocked if UT beats LSU and they're not in Knoxville. That would be an insane environment.

agree, but they also look for reasons to stay in the SEC footprint - for a variety of reasons - some legit, some selfish & not so legit

Oh no doubt, it'll be crazy. I just had never realized that they doubled up on schools in the same year.
