Non-Illini/IU fans don't pay that much attention beyond W/L IMO63-10 isn't leaving anyone's head soon. It'll take beating Ohio State, Indiana going undefeated or us losing to Ohio State in a tight one, then winning out.
This is why I was so angry yesterday, despite the win. (Didn't post much in that regard, would just have gotten yelled at.)I think you hit the nail on the head. USC dropped out of the coaches poll. They got the same number of votes (17) as Maryland.
USC can help us quickly. Michigan then ND next 2 weeks. They won't stop Michigan's running attack so that's a longshot. Think they have a puncher's chance in a shootout vs NDobviously we want IU and USC to keep winning. As to USC so does Notre Dame.
Notre Dame is gonna run USC out of the building, especially at home. There's a 4 pt difference from ND from being ranked #1 in the country and ND's current ranking. People see the 2 losses but forget it's from 3pts @Miami and 1pt against TA&M from a muffed XP.USC can help us quickly. Michigan then ND next 2 weeks. While all that is factually true, the reality is ND's defense is simply awful here, at the start of the season. It's possible their offense can outscore whatever the defense gives up, but they're going to have to make huge improvements on D, if they're going to make a run. That said, they should handle USC here in 3 weeks.Notre Dame is gonna run USC out of the building, especially at home. Actually, the sun doesn't rise. We just spin around to where we can see it, then we keep spinning until it's out of sight. Claiming that it rises would be controversial.Oh ye of little faith. This board can make the sun rising controversial.
Definitely going to ask Alexa "what time does the earth spin to the point for me to see the sun tomorrow morning" now, and then subsequently "what time will the earth spin to the point I can't see the sun".Actually, the sun doesn't rise.
