Stirtz picked up 2 fouls 5 minutes into this game against Purdue. He puts up great numbers against bad teams but he’s been terrible against Iowa St, Mich St, Illinois and now Purdue. He better not make 1st team All conference.

Banks looking bad v. purdue. Stirtz with 2 fouls. Yet ioway tied with them close to end of 1st half.

I remember people online saying they wished Illinois could play with the consistency and intensity that teams like Purdue always has. Painter always has his guys ready. Especially at home they never have off nights.

I’m just saying remember these games when you think this only happens to Illinois.

Now, having said that, here comes the PU rally.

I imagine Purdue winds up winning this game. But still, the conference is wide open.

Iowa is not overly talented, but are very well coached.

Can't find the post but someone talked about McCollum vs DeVries... I'd absolutely take McCollum.
