I thought the exact thing. made no sense to me.

we are getting very close to being the number 1 offense. tied with Alabama essentially and just a little behind Purdue.

duke is an interesting case of being very different in kenpom and torvik. wonder why?

And Alabama doesn't play until Saturday, which will be against Tennessee (very good defense, good chance they'll be extra motivated after what transpired today).

It's not that unrealistic to say Illinois might be the top rated offense heading into Mackey. It's also not unrealistic to say Illinois and Purdue will be #1 and #2.

And also, if we can be the top offense this season, we'll also be a top 3 offense to ever come through college basketball in the last 29 years:
