Watching Penn St and Maryland and do refs not call traveling at all? I hope we arent headed to the NBA crap. Maryland guard on a step back just changed his pivot and shuffled like 6 steps and the Fla guard chin did about 5 times on his key three yesterday. It was way worse than the one Minnesotas guy had on the drive yesterday that was missed. I hope dont let this to get worse. Both those steps backs they did the damn cha-cha big time and it wasnt called. I cant imagine what Coach Henson or other may do if they saw those guys walk all over the place and hit a key shot

Illini now No. 7 in NET, ahead of UConn, Iowa State, Houston, BYU, MSU, Vandy among others...
Finally some movement.

Nebraska ahead of us in the NET. The biggest disparities between the NET and Kenpom are:

Nebraska 7 NET v 13 Kenpom (no losses but close games)
Florida 15 NET v 9 Kenpom (likely due to 5 losses)

Further down the list SLU 22 NET v 29 Kenpom

We here on this board will gladly wait while you take care of that movement. Hurry back.

Now it will be interesting to see if Coit remains hot in the second half, or be ice cold allowing the Peds to make a miraculous comeback to win.

How did the Minnesota win do this?and
I would guess that Texas Tech beating BYU handily, Iowa State losing two in a row, including getting crushed by Kansas and losing to a mediocre Cincinnati team, UCONN barely escaping Georgetown and Vandy losing again, this time at home, all were factors. Of the three losses the Illini have, the worst right now is to Alabama and they are still at 18 in the NET. Long way to go, but the Illini have lots of great Q1 opportunities ahead of them and few torpedo games. One of those is Wednesday against Maryland, who right now has a player (Coit) who's almost outscored Penn State by himself.
