Classes start back up Monday in Lincoln. The school does offer something called pre-session, that began on January 2nd. Basically a 3-week session at the beginning of spring semester where the students can either catch up or get ahead on degree requirements, broaden their career skills, or complete a required general education or experiential learning class.
UI did this exact same thing in January in the 1980’s .
They called it “ Intersession” or
“ Wintersession”
basically you took one class , 3 hours each day , 4 days a week for 3 weeks

Underwood is tame compared to Cronin. That guy is crazy.
Cronin is certified nuts. Nothing makes that guy happy. I'm surprised his youngsters have not thrown in the towel and are actually playing better now. He must be pushing the right buttons. Can't knock his coaching ability but he's not the most personable coach out there

I have to say that the Big 12 is the best basketball league in America and has the most exciting brand of basketball in America. I have found myself watching more Big 12 games than Big 10 games this season when I usually watch an equal amount from each league. Outside of Oklahoma State, I feel like all of these teams are evenly matched and it shows in the multiple OT games and close games. I'm really surprised that Cincy and UCF have integrated themselves as well as they have. I really thought those two programs would struggle with the step up in competition. I'm not surprised about BYU but Cincy and UCF most definitely. Last year, it was the Big 12, Big 10, and SEC that were exciting to watch. But, the Big 12 is far and beyond the most interesting conference to watch

The Villanova vs. UCONN game is a great watch. Very high level ball.

Really? It's tied at 18 and nearly halftime lol
Are you actually watching? The score is not indicative of the game's quality. Both teams playing very hard, great defense on both ends. Both offenses with great movement. Just a very competitive game between two near peers despite Nova not being ranked.

Honestly, no. Was just being silly. I have watched a few UConn games this year, love watching them.

Agreed. Not knocking his coaching as I have not watched enough of his games historically, but he wears me out watching him on the sidelines. Got to admit, the guy has a style and he is amped from tip to buzzer.

I think we had something similar that I did in grad school at EIU but in my case it was a 4 week class that we did starting the week after the end of spring semester and before summer semester, during which you could take a 6 week or 8 week summer class.

Duke loses
Blake Henson 7-7 from 3. I never really understood why we seemingly backed off of him.

He's a career 36% 3pt shooter at 6'8" 230. If you look just at his Jr and Sr year at Pitt, he's 38.4% on almost 400 attempts.
