#1 offense = Illinois

Disagree. I think they could lose one home game, and @Nebby is another losable game.

So now we're down to needing two losses out of these road games: @UCLA, @Indiana, @Iowa, @Ohio State (they have other road games remaining, but those are the only four realistic ones IMO).

I think that's a lot more plausible than the scenario you put forth.
Down to 1 more out of:

@IU, @Iowa, @OSU.

Those giving up on this may be right at the end, but say we go on the road and knock Nebby, we should have a chance to set up that scUM game with just four losses ourselves. I’ll shoot my shot for whatever it’s worth 🤷‍♀️

Quite aware of what lies ahead. Personally, I'M LOCKED IN 🔒

Just pointing out UCLA is turning a corner here and undefeated at home. It is a "games thread" after all 😉
UCLA turning a corner on a 1 game winning streak. And yes it is a games thread about TODAY's games. Like the person you replied to said worry about UCLA when we play them.

I still think Indiana is most likely. They’ve beaten Purdue 3 of last 4 times at Assembly Hall.

Well, if you’re married to the TODAY’s game thing, at time of your posting in the central time zone, and as of now on the west coast, Maryland is not TODAY’s game - so I guess we both violated the rules.

I had no idea pointing out UCLA might be a difficult game on the road, just after knocking off Purdont to remain unbeaten at home, was gonna cause such commotion.

But I’m glad they took down Purdue (but in the eastern time and central time zones that game was yesterday as of 13 minutes ago, so I apologize if overstepped here). My fellow pacific and mountain timers - let’s party on with the Bruins taking down the Boilers! 🥳

Watching DGL kill it with UNLV. Wish we had him in this situation.

UNLV 82 - Utah State 76

DGL steals ball with 31 seconds left
I don’t know how well he fits on this team. He obviously wouldn’t get 12 shots a game here like he’s getting there, but he actually has a higher eFG% than Andrej (.552 to .545). Less rebounds though (3.1 to 4.4 in 6 more minutes per game), but they don’t necessarily play the same position, so not sure how relevant that is. He should probably be compared to Petro, and he’d probably be a better player for us. But I’m not sure he wanted an off-the-bench role.

I watched this on delay, just finishing up now. Man, what a gutty, GUTTY performance by UNLV. Dra and their stud freshman Jones and a kid Brown off the bench made this one amazing watch.

Getting torched by the refs then a USU kill shot THEN getting even deeper into foul trouble, they pull it out after being down at least 14 in a famously though place that they haven't won in years.

I liked USU before this game. A UNLV player (their freshman Jones) went down with an injury and multiple fans were heckling him, audible through the announcer audio. They were hopped up and nasty for a while.. not sure how they got that noise turned off.

It felt like the color guy was a homer or close to it.. fun to listen to his excitement for the home team, but he stubbornly refused to call Dra anything but Gibbs-Longhorn, even when reading stats.

Anyway, awesome game with awesome moments for Dra.

I think it’s a superstition like thing. If someone looks ahead you HAVE to say not to overlook Minnesota. Is it logical? No. But I get it.
