Yes, but we’re a 2-2 in our next 4 away from being back “in the middle”… let’s not count our chickens before they hatch..

Maryland ... Oregon ... Penn State

Who's the worst team? Might sound crazy, but I don't think Rutgers is down there at the moment. They've won 2 games and should've beaten Michigan State (yes, horrific choke job).

I think Rutgers is still the worst team, they just were fortunate to beat Oregon and Northwestern at home in OT. However, I think PSU will finish with the worst record.

I do think the 4 teams that will play in round 1 of the BTT are Rutgers, PSU, Maryland and Oregon.

Sucks that Oregon was our away trip last year because that really looks like a free away win this year. USC/UCLA are much harder this year

I’ve definitely developed more of a dislike for them since 2020 and I feel their fans are infinitely more obnoxious than they ever were in past decades, but … for me, it will never approach Indiana/Iowa/Missouri levels.
My fandom started in the early 80's. So, everything I saw was Henson v. Knight. UI v. IU. The Real Assembly Hall v. The crackerbox 'Assembly Hall'. The cool uniforms v. The clown pants. IU is just TOO CLOSE to UI to not be just yuck! I try to root for B1G to get higher profile, but, the best Indiana game in ANY sport is a loss. PERIOD.

All trees in Illinois lean east because Indiana sucks.

Is UConn that good? Look at their last six games.

If a neutral court game were to be played right now, I think we win IF it isn’t an NBA court.
They aren’t a pretty watch at the moment, but they have always struggled in conference play around this time of year. They usually figure it out in Feb

Way too much time left. To do that, you ought to have full confidence in your execution and foul shooting. They were already missing FTs.
and the outcome? I would have taken my chances with a foul and there was 17 seconds left in the game, squandered a chance to win a game they were leading by 3 points

Soooo we beat Purdue at their place with them coming off a loss. Do we play the role of knife twister again to Nebraska at their place with them also coming off a loss?

Amazing how the bad teams are also always the most undisciplined teams. It's not necessarily your talent is bad, just undisciplined and perhaps poorly coached.

Rutgers misses free throws, doesn't even guard a 42% 3pt shooter, gives it away against Michigan State.

USC with a horrendous foul to give away the game against Iowa, after going 5-14 from FT last week in a close game against Purdue.

Rutgers was 10 of 13 from the line in the second half. Below is a list of their late game free throws.

Made a pair at 2:48
Made another pair at 0:59
Split a pair at 0:45
Made a pair at 0:24
Split a pair at 0:17

8 of 10 FTs in the last 3 minutes of regulation.

2 of 2 in overtime (not that it mattered).
