Scary situation. I can’t believe they dragged her out of there so quick instead of evaluating the situation a little better.
I took that to be a sign that it was something pretty serious. She did not look good.

Iowa St vs Arizona has been a pretty good game. Iowa St giving it away though in OT. Too many drives to the basket resulting in TO's. 3 in a row basically to give AZ the win.

one in a million shot. And wow did it ever deflate Iowa State in OT. That guy who made the shot will remember it vividly until the hour of his death.

It would be interesting to see if the investigation reports get released publicly. Based on what I read the University outsources their Title IX investigations, which is good practice, but they appear to do it with one specific provider, which does I think potentially raise questions about the impartiality given that the University was publicly backing him (i.e. if I have a big contract to do these kinds of investigations with a client, and that client makes their feelings on an a specific investigation, how impartial can I really be given that I may want that contract renewed down the line?).
It will be very interesting to see what does eventually come to public light. If I understand things correctly, Florida has pretty restrictive laws about open records (i.e. it's much harder to get information from Freedom of Information Act requests than in other states). The point about having a single vendor for these investigations does raise concerns. It's similar to a company staying with the same auditor for many years - maybe that auditor won't be as diligent or willing to confront the company on potential issues.

I do agree with others that if Golden really is culpable of these things that we will see something down the line. If that occurs, then Florida will have serious questions to answer. But given what TSJ had to endure, I'm not going to assume guilt in this case. I just hope we see more information come to light to make a more informed assessment of the entire situation.

You know your program has fallen off a cliff when your coach needs to be reminded by a transfer player who came over from an in conference team and is playing for your program for the first time about what the standard and culture should be with your program. Lol.
Looks like Goode had to remind two of them about the handshake line.

Man, looking at their upcoming schedule, I'm not sure there's a game in their next 6 where they'd be favorites. Wouldn't be shocking if they dropped them all tbh, which would make it 8 in a row. I had thought Woodson would make it to the end of the season, but now I'm not so sure. Decent chance the wheels could be falling off there in the next 2-3 weeks.

I, for one, will mourn the inevitable firing of Mike Woodson, whose presence has been a boon to our program.

wow, MSU with yet another killer game tonight in their brutal first half conference schedule. Minnesota no less and they have to play the game in East Lansing!
Beating a team twice this early in conference play is going to be a tall task for Sparty but if anyone can put together a winning game plan it's Izzo. Course he'll really have to pull something special out of his hat with all, yes ALL of his players healthy. If that wasn't enough the refs have yet to commit to calling every close play in the Spartan's favor.

The schedule gets very serious after this one. 11 games left and 10 of them are Q1.

good bout time

Yeah despite being 8-0, they are projected to finish 15-5 on Torvik.

I still believe they aren't that talented, but they know how to make winning plays and are very confident. But if they lose a couple, does their confidence start to fade?

In case anyone needs any extra rooting interests, these are just some games to watch this week:

THURSDAY
Ohio State at Penn State:
Ohio State somehow remains in the top 30 of the NET Rankings with a 12-8 record, lol. We are done playing PSU and that will likely remain a Quad 2 win no matter what, but our HOME game vs. OSU is Quad 1 as long as they are top 30. So, go Buckeyes!

SATURDAY
Michigan at Rutgers:
Not only do we want Michigan to pick up a third Big Ten loss and slide back down the standings a bit, but I for one am still hopeful that Rutgers can get back into the top 75 of the NET Rankings and make our trip to Jersey a Quad 1 matchup. They are #82 right now.

#7 Michigan State at USC: We obviously would love MSU to start racking up some Big Ten losses (though the conference championship might be a pipe dream at this point?), but we also need USC to stay in the top 75 (they are #75 today) to avoid that home loss to the Trojans from slipping to Quad 3 again.

#1 Auburn at #23 Ole Miss: I mentioned this elsewhere, but I really want Duke to be ranked #1 when we get a shot at them at MSG. Go Rebels.

Based on what I've read, the student in question was fine and walked out of the arena under her own power. Definitely a strange night all the way around . . .
