Oregon look like they've quit on Dana Altman this season. To lay an egg the way they did vs. UCLA last Thursday and to respond this way at home against a Nebraska team that had to cross two time zones doesn't bode well.

He’s old guard and Oregon’s attendance sucks…and all the current egg laying… yeah…I bet there’s a better than avg. chance he hangs up his clipboard and whistle at the end of the season.

Altman is 66. Could certainly be in a McCaffrey-type situation.

What will be interesting is what type of job Oregon is considered to be. Nike money will obviously be a big draw, but I would imagine moving to the Big Ten probably makes that a less desirable job relative to the level of competition. But again, Nike money. If I'm guessing, I'm saying it's still a very desirable job, especially for someone with good west coast (particularly California) ties.
