Im not sold on Wisconsin. Purdue looks like the superior team here
I don't understand why EVERY team doesn't press Purdue and make Edey run end line to end line. Maryland did it twice to him last year, we did it in the second half last year and made up 20 points and FDU did it all game to them in the NCAA Tournament.
It'll be incredibly tough to beat them if you allow him to anchor himself in on both ends of the floor.
Make the guards work and make him work. He can't block a shot if he's behind the play.

We will. They can’t stay in front of Shannon. Ever since Brad got here and got athletes at guards, they’ve struggled to keep us out of the lane.
How was SIU not making real noise the last few years with Domask and Lance Jones? That dude is just big shot after big shot.

For real. Dude is a stud. Him and Domask alone should be able to carry a team.
I agree that we are bigger and better athletes than Wisconsin. Have to credit them for running excellent pick and roll offense and being a very good passing team. Very few turnovers as well.
Illinois can certainly beat them in Madison, but will need our best effort. Crashing offensive glass will be key.
I may be in the minority, but I'm pulling for Purdue. Mainly because I really want a 2-3 seed in NCAAT and we're going to be competing with Wisconsin for seeding.

It's a real mystery to me how Domask wasn't just demolishing the Valley.
Wahl has done a nice job hurting Purdue on the offensive glass when Edey has zoned him up. Hope Ty sees this film.
You can really argue both ways. What matters is if we beat them when we play them
Edey doesn't move when shot goes up. If it's within his reach he's probably gonna get it. You have to go around him like Wahl is to effectively rebound with him in there.
Storr has taken exclusively bad shots in the final 12:00 of this game.
Loyer has permanent s***-eating grin face if there is such a thing. High degree of punchability.

No points on only four shots. Is he hurt?
He's not quick laterally, just uses his reach. Need to keep him shuffling his feet side to side and eventually there's an opening. Wahl has exploited that a few times.
My nickname for him is “lollipop guild.” Really good player though!

I am wildly surprised that Wisconsin actually has more fouls called on them than the opposing team at the Kohl Center.
