Would like we a home game against OK Osabor. He plays like a WNBA player, little athletic ability just trying to over power players. But in the BIG, many teams have true bigs and WNBA moves don't work.
They had one guy go on a heater or it would have been a comfortable road win. Hard to prepare for that.We definitely did prepare for UW. Washington might just be a team that does way better at home than on the road. This year, the already big home court advantage in the B1G has even more weight given the huge increase in average travel distance.

Tier 1: Purdue, Illinois, Michigan State, MichiganAt this point, there's only 7 teams I'd remotely worry about with the conference title race. Remotely - not trying to create a tier 1.
scUM, WISCY, UCLA, ORE, Purdon't, IU, MSU.
IU has looked better the past few games, but I think it's a mirage. Things are about to get real for them.I, too, am iffy about Indiana at this point. IU fans aren't happy with Woodson's coaching, they're 2-3 in road/neutral games this season and have played a pretty unbalanced home/road schedule (already 11 games at home which is more than every Big Ten team but Minnesota). I'm not counting out Oregon though. They're just really inconsistent.
We will find out whether they are good or not soon enough on 1/14.I, too, am iffy about Indiana at this point. They're just really untested. Only one game against a ranked team, too, and they lost.

What about NU taking down MSU AND Osobar is Great Again while taking down scUM?Top of the Big Ten standings as we head into the weekend:
#16 Michigan State: 4-0
#24 Michigan: 4-0
#13 Illinois: 4-1
#20 Purdue: 4-1
Indiana: 4-1
Michigan and Purdue are very likely to pick up a win this weekend at home, but it would be really nice if the Kitties could knock off MSU this weekend. I don't view Indiana as anywhere near as much of a threat for the regular season championship, but they are probably going to be underdogs at Iowa tomorrow night. If all results from this weekend are "chalk" except for NU taking down MSU, we would presumably be tied for second with 5-1 with Purdue, with Michigan sitting alone at 5-0.
OSU just choked that one away... and it wasn't a very pleasant sighting.I'm not counting out Oregon though. They're just really inconsistent.
They have arguably a first-team B1G player in Dawson Garcia, and they will struggle to stay within 20 of anybody.Somehow Minnesota will be worse next year? Their top 4 scorers are all seniors.
Can't remember the last time anyone on a 2 win team in BIG play (if they even manage to get to that mark) has been named first team All BIG ... I don't think anyone is "arguing" for that outside of Minneapolis. They have arguably a first-team B1G player in Dawson Garcia, and they will struggle to stay within 20 of anybody.
Don't be obtuse here. Garcia is averaging 20 points and 8 rebounds this season. Can't remember the last time anyone on a 2 win team in BIG play (if they even manage to get to that mark) has been named first team All BIG ... I don't think anyone is "arguing" for that outside of Minneapolis.
Not the way he's playing right now...he has been sick and has lost 9 lbs over the last week...Don't be obtuse here. Garcia is averaging 20 points and 8 rebounds this season.
Heck, the way Harper is playing, Rutgers could finish 17th in the league and he'd get a first team nod as well.
I mean, he was on the Second-team pre-season All-Big Ten team, so I'd say "arguably" is a very fair word to use. Can't remember the last time anyone on a 2 win team in BIG play (if they even manage to get to that mark) has been named first team All BIG ... I'd be very surprised if they win 2 big ten games. look at the schedule. Can't remember the last time anyone on a 2 win team in BIG play (if they even manage to get to that mark) has been named first team All BIG ... I don't think anyone is "arguing" for that outside of Minneapolis.
