Georgia blew it. Now hoping for Kentucky to lose and Arizona tonight. Also fully expect Houston to lose to TCU. They aren’t the 2nd best team in America.

They've been much better in recent games than they are today. 32 points and 10 turnovers at halftime on the home court isn't particularly impressive to me. Northwestern does have a way of making most teams look ugly though.
But not the ILLINI ...........................hells yeah !!!!!!!!!!!!

I think he was like 182 on 247. Fell from 136.

He committed early IIRC. Transferred to Moline to play with Harding as they were AAU teammates I think.
I watched him three times last year.
He looked like a project TBH. Nice size, could run, good hands, but really did not dominate as you might think for a D1 6'10" post prospect in HS.

Iowa has done wonders with him. Iowa really develops kids offensively.
Kid has played really well on offense. Makes himself available, finishes, and Iowa finds him.
Is kind of lost defensively, but will get better.

Freeman will be a solid player there, but don't forget who he plays for. Nobody gets better defensively under Fran.

7 minutes left, up 22, all starters still in for Purdue
When teams do that I almost hope a couple of them roll an ankle - nothing serious, just enough for them to miss, oh say, 2-3 games

Notre Dame trailed FSU throughout today and that's at home. Got it down to 3 with a minute to go but couldn't get over the hump.

Final score, FSU 67, ND 58
Lots of FT's in final minute to stretch it out

Texas a&m and Kentucky going to OT. Illinois could move up in the polls if they take care of business tomorrow. #9 lost already and Kentucky at #6 losing is very possible

How did that 3 not count for A&M. Even if it is an offense foul the ball was released. Refs love UK
also wondering what the rule is. the ball was released and the foot was kicked out afterward - shouldn't it be that the basket counts and a foul. it used to be that way with charges if released before the contact. was there a rule change?
