Not sure where to put this, but EIU signed guard Jayden Wright from Benet Academy, Lisle IL, for 2026-27.
Wright (5'11, Guard) is the son of former EIU guard Jason Wright (2001-05) and grandson of EIU Hall of Fame football wide receiver Jerry Wright (1981-84).
BUIL 800 career points with 143 3-pointers connecting at a 43-percent clip. In addition, Wright has contributed more than 200 assists, 200 rebounds and 70 steals in his prep career. Over the last two years he has helped lead the program to a 60-12 record highlighted by winning the school's first IHSA Class 4A State Championship

Northwestern Virginia one of the more poorly officiated games I've seen recently. When both teams are in the double bonus with 8 minutes left in the second half and the leading scorer for VA fouls out with a ridiculous call, you know the officials are feeling full of themselves out there.

Edit: Virginia about to win. Tail end of the game. The FIFTIETH foul was just called.

It's obvious the O/U for fouls called was 49. The refs need their NIL too :ROFLMAO:

Imagine how bad it’d feel if we lost to TT; but we didn’t. Hope they bring their A game and upset PU.

TT looking real bad; JT Toppin two 3’s missed, including airball. I think all of their shots have been 3’s.

Toppin just does not miss inside 8 feet. Dude finishes absolutely everything around the rim

Purdue has such great situational preparedness. I feel like our team works on jump shots fed from the machine while Purdue practices shots from different scenarios. Seems to be a constant with Matt Painter teams just knowing how to get comfortable looking shots, imo.
