Sam Diego St beating Houston by 3 with 0:50 left in OT. Been a little ugly last few minutes, but good watch.
2-2Alabama is going to play 4 of the top 10 BIG teams. Purdue, Us, Rutgers, and now Oregon. Will they go 3-1 ?
Are you "local"? If you don't know your way around Eugene, I'll be glad to share some tips.
Ok, Fifth Street Public Market is a good area to start in. In January, weather will be likely wet and in the 50--60s during the day so it is sort of the worst weather of the year. Wet and cold, by local stadards. Restaurants: I like Sabi, Bar Purlieu, Lion and Owl, for upscale food. Tacovore and Ta Ra Rin for inexpensive, decent food.We live a couple hours away. We have been there once for a weekend. This trip will be staying for a couple days. So any tips would be appreciated.
Well, be safe, driving I-5 at night in January can be very wet and rainy, plus dark. Just be careful, keep your distance from those in front of you and don;'t take risks and you'll be fine. Around Albany and just north of Albany be careful if it gets foggy. I grew up in that area and when the fog sets in just north of albany it can get nasty.Staying with my son in Portland and driving back after the game. It will be a late night but unfortunately, he has to work on the 3rd.
Oregon wins over Bama for winners' NIL Bag in vegas ...you called this my friend. Oregon is going to be tough in our league!!
I'm with you. Talk about a team that skyrocketed their profile in a week. We'll see how the season plays out, but as it currently stands, they're going to make a huge leap in the polls and it seems as if our trip out west to start the new year just got a heck of a lot tougher.Didn't want Oregon to win that... will likely jump us.
But man, @Oregon is setting up to be quite the challenge.
The biggest risk now is Maui. They used to jam Chaminade in there as the 8th team, so it was pretty matter of fact that nobody was coming out 0-3. Now......Playing in one of these triple elimination tournaments is super high risk for the top programs.
Just win, baby!Playing in one of these triple elimination tournaments is super high risk for the top programs.
It’s a proving ground you either put up or shut up…..high risk, high reward.Playing in one of these triple elimination tournaments is super high risk for the top programs.
Hurley after losing in the first round this March: “we won’t be doing another 6-game postseason tournament again.”
Whiner
This guy keeps getting worse. Wins 2 titles at arguably the best program of this millennium and now he thinks he's bigger than the sport.
What a sore loser... your team loses some great players and a defensive giant in the middle (Clingan) from last season, but losing three straight must be blamed on the format and the refs
