Some conversations are especially pointless.

I won't provide any added context to my post though, so you guys will never know which conversation I'm referencing.

In his conversation with Kedric Prince upon deciding to transfer;

Morez expressed frustration with his role under coach Brad Underwood: “Mr. Prince, I am not just a guy who can rebound, set picks, and dunk. I am more than that, but the person running the offense didn’t believe in me. No matter how many times I showed it in practice, it wasn’t enough. I can’t allow my career to end up like Kofi (Cockburn)"

First post game interview with new team you go straight into "Dusty May is letting me evolve my game". Seems like a fairly obvious A to B progression from me.

I don't think you have to mention Brad or Illinois when you have context.
Thanks for sharing. I had never read that but it definitely seems to align his current comments as being a negative towards Illinois staff.

Side note, Morez lit up the scoreboard, but he almost had as many missed 3's as he did rebounds.
I think our staff knew something but MJ still doesn’t get it. He probably would have had a double-double here with the same matchup and only needing to prove he can shoot threes in the combine for the next level. Now he’ll have to overcome the stigma of shooting 3’s poorly in games…

I just watched the scUM-Oakland replay and Valdemorte was guarded by players 8-10 inches shorter than him.....good to hear how
dusty may-maybe not helped with this games evolvement.........I have stopped paying ANY attention to what comes out of his falsehoodie mouth........I really really have........

the more you know...............................

I didn't watch but I have a hard time believing Oakland consistently guarded Morez with one of the two guys they played who are 6-1 and under. Guess it's possible though.

Gordon was Indianapolis kid. Tremendous home town pressure to play for Indiana. He only played 1 year in college. Had had a long NBA career.
Alexanders stunt with Illini hat was immature. Got declared ineligible mid season due to taking money. Not drafted. played 8 games for trailblazers then spent next 10 years in g-league then overseas.

I'm not here to discuss Morez's comments, but something interesting I found was that Yaxel's injury is supposedly why he didn't start but he ended up playing a good amount of minutes. Morez had a great game so the question is- who hits the bench when Yaxel is healthy?

Any guesses who will be the first Big Ten team to pick up a loss? Really hoping it isn't us! Lol. Here are the upcoming non-cupcake games for Big Ten teams over the next two weeks, using the current KenPom Rankings to give folks at least some context (and AP Rankings in parentheses).

Friday, November 7
#88 Georgetown at #37 Maryland

Saturday, November 8
(AP #14) #26 Arkansas at (AP #22) #34 Michigan State

Sunday, November 9
#38 Indiana vs. #47 Marquette (Chicago, IL)
#43 Washington at #21 Baylor

Tuesday, November 11
(AP #10) #13 Texas Tech at (AP #17) #5 Illinois
#58 Wake Forest vs. (AP #7) #9 Michigan (Detroit, MI)

Wednesday, November 12
#67 Minnesota at #29 Missouri

Thursday, November 13
(AP #1) #1 Purdue at (AP #15) #24 Alabama

Friday, November 14
#70 Xavier at #40 Iowa
(AP #7) #9 Michigan at #92 TCU
#59 Northwestern at #78 DePaul
(AP #13) #10 Arizona vs. (AP #12) #20 UCLA (Inglewood, CA)
#43 Washington at #153 Washington State

Saturday, November 15
#37 Maryland at #47 Marquette
#55 Oklahoma vs. #50 Nebraska (Sioux Falls, SD)

Sunday, November 16
#71 Notre Dame at #35 Ohio State

I wouldn't be shocked if Arkansas won in East Lansing, though I hope that doesn't happen. However, I am betting on Sparty and my answer is that Indiana loses to Marquette at the United Center ... just seems like the type of game where their fans will show up in droves and get hyped up and then lose, looking like crap. :ROFLMAO: The first game where I would be shocked if the Big Ten team won is Minnesota's road game at Missouri.
I'd go with indiana or Washington
