No thanks. Post-Thanksgiving weekend jet lag on that nine-hour time difference will render the team sluggish for most of a week after returning. Stick to U.S-based tourneys or schedule another Top 10 matchup that week.
Lets schedule a couple of these teams the week after
Kentucky 5.5 point dogs at Rupp tonight? that's a little jarring to see.
If they lose tonight, and head into the IU game at Rupp again at 6-4 and lose to hated Indiana. I feel like that might go reallly off the rails. (They really shouldnt lose at home to indiana though) that would be a tense game.

Game is not at Rupp, it’s in the same arena we play at tomorrow night. Good chance to scope out the court aesthetics.
I don’t like to Dubai having a college basketball tournament but a fit 20 year-old athlete isn’t going to need much time to recover from the jet lag. A couple of days. If the payout is huge then players are gonna like it.
I don't like it either.

Like he said it’s not just another MTE, it’s a great exposure you can tell by the caliber of teams already signing up.
Kentucky looks like an absolute mess. Their last 19 game minutes they have 1 field goal.
If there's any confusion why Illinois is still ranked top 20, just look at UK being 18.

Down 23 at the half. I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up missing the tourney all together. With their history and fanbase, they'll be looking for a new Head Coach by seasons end...
