MSU probably beats most teams but Duke at home today. Their perimeter shooting let them down in the 2nd half. The NCAA refs down the stretch in this game and others has been brutal. It's almost as if they start calling phantom fouls trying to allow the losing team to make it close. All the physical no calls that I've seen in previous games at the Breslin and then you start making those type calls. Izzo complaining for calls to the refs generally works except the brand name for Duke is too strong

We've had nightmare starts in other years, but whenever I see a game like this or the PU game today I make a mental note: It happens to EVERYONE.

I mean a 13:1 assist/turnover ratio is as good as you'll ever see. Soo..... there's that for the haters. Go Fears and go BIG. Let's not forget that rooting against all our rivals only hurts our resume in the long run, so im not sure why people enjoy watching the BIG lose non-conference. Seems petty and counterproductive. And let's not Forget Fears respected our program plenty and seemingly only chose MSU because of playing time concerns. He made a great choice, him and Izzo are perfect together. Looking forward to playing him.

MSU is a quad 1 game regardless of that Duke game, and I promise you the MSU boards laugh at our nonconference losses.
He’s a good player, but the flopping really is nuts. You can make the case the refs should just not call it, and then he’d stop. I also find tripping players with the leg kicks a little lame and dirty.
Put me down on the petty list (with respect to PU and IU).
I actually like MSU though
