I thought Gonzaga and Few were going to be solid this season, but Hurley and UCONN are strong. Scary team. Might be as good if not better than last season's squad.

I know it would be good for the conference, but I just can't bring myself to root for the loosiers....
Rooting for them is a strong term, but right now....the entire conference needs to have more than a handful of Q1 opportunities.

Those few high profile wins in the non conference saved us last year. We're not going to have that this year. I don't want to be in a situation where FAU needs to carry us.

We need Rutgers to start winning games. We need MSU to start winning games. We need Indiana to start winning games because once we get into conference play, we don't want those teams winning games anymore. We want every game to be a great opportunity vs a must have. That's not a good spot to be in.

Just my take.

I don't know if I can agree that Kansas isn't that good, based on just one half of basketball @ Indiana. They've beaten #4 UConn, #7 Tennessee and #17 Kentucky and have only lost one game to #4 Marquette in Maui.

Even with those wins factored in. They’ve fallen from #2 in KenPom preseason to #11 today and if they lose this game, they’ll likely fall even further.

No one’s saying they’re not a good team. Just likely not the #2 team in the nation.

They won't be if they lose to Indiana today.

Michigan State taking it to #6 Baylor, up 28-9 with 6:55 left in first half.

I know we need a strong B1G this year, and I know Hunty McDickface is playing for Kansas, so I also know I can’t ask for them both to lose. But MAN, I CAN’T pull for a team with McDickface on it, and I certainly CAN’T pull for Clown Pants U. Oh, the humanity!
Wish I could like this more than once. While my ire has faded over the years, I still want to see Self lose every game; now especially because - Dick. Friday's game vs Yale offers what should be a fascinating match-up between Dickerson and ex-Glencoe native and current Yale 7 foot center Danny Wolf. Yale also has Illinois native John Poulakaidis and a very solid two way pg in Bez Mbeg. Guess someone had to win. Exciting ending.

Baylor can’t make anything right now. State is playing good defense but Baylor is not really attacking it either

Baylor shooting 32% and MSU 63%. BU came into the game shooting 47% from 3's to lead the nation. Today they are 2 for 10 with 11 TO's in first half.
