Do we need to? Different players, games, and politics. It is ok to wish we had Morez or Amani (great production lately) as another element. Edit: USC is way overrated. They are not good.
Can you imagine if our star player was put back in to get his 4th foul in the first half!!?
Needs to be some sort of regulation with payments imo. Players shouldn’t be able to sign a 1 year deal with one team, then just back out of it a month later.
at the time, we didn't think we had to make a choice. but after last season I would have chosen tomi. he was better last year, better shooter and passer. morez wasn't good on defense last year (neither were) and fouled a lot. this year things have changed.... but hopefully tomi gets back to form this year.
lol, a more serious question at this point with Tomi being a huge disappointment thus far.
Very good player having a very good season and I’m not saying we wouldn’t want him but whose minutes would you have him take? As good as Morez is playing Mirkovic’s numbers are better and he can stretch the floor more. Again I’m not saying there would not be a big role for him. I guess Ben would play less?
Honest question - was this actually the debate internally?
I personally would be very skeptical defensively with Morez at the 5. And even more so if Mirk was the 4.

Morez is dominant. Every game. I love Mirk, but Rez is a great talent. He is the athletic presence we need. He fix r his fouling, and gas grown to be a top scorer on a top two team in the country.

Under no circumstance was Morez leaving something we wanted. It hurt then, and it hurts now.
It's so frustrating to hear that he wanted to "play his game" or whatever the excuse was, and his game is exactly the same at Michigan as it was here.
