Interesting margins conversation when you become the program Illinois has.

Morez was a really good player. But offensively, I’m not sure I’m interested in as much. Our offense is awesome, the question to me is what did he give up defensively?

And he's still playing the 5 spot whenever Mara goes to the bench. I thought Morez's camp didn't want him playing at the 5 hence the laughable Kofi diss? It's whatever though. Morez would have been great with us had he stayed, but we got a good one in Mirk.

Second place is 1st loser
Mirkovic is a nice player, but Morez is going to be an All Conference player, who is an absolute beast on both boards and a shot annihilator in the paint. He's tenacity and let's call it what it is...his flat out angry style of play and GTFOH attitude is our missing piece. We are a far better team with Morez Johnson on it.

That said, it is what it is. Our front line is going to have to figure out a way to not get mashed ala the game vs Duke last year.

I really enjoy watching Nebraska’s motion offense. Mast is a helluva player.

All true, but he’s an enemy now. And he signed up for a team that is divinely destined to lose to us every year.
