In a season, you’ll have 3-5 perfect games where everything clicks. This was one of those for Nebraska. They’ll have a hard time replicating this again on Saturday.
You should be a little- just knocked off Wisconsin by 30...Not worried
Fred is a really good college coach in my opinion. Nebraska would be wise to do what is needed to keep him there for as long as possible.Nebraska by 16 at halftime. I feel like Fred Hoiberg is one of the better coaches in our conference. His teams seem to always show up ready to compete, and he seems to get the best out of the talent that he gets.
I'll always maintain that Fred wasn't really given a chance to succeed with the Bulls; he was brought in to coach a young, rebuilding team, but ended up with Butler, an over the hill D. Wade, and an aging R. Rondo, none of whom respected Fred or was willing to be coached by him. Fred wanted to coach a ball sharing game, and was given iso players. And yet, once Rondo expressed his feelings, and basically took over leadership, they would have beaten the Celtics in the first round of the playoffs had he not gone down.Fred is a really good college coach in my opinion. I think every team other than Oregon, Maryland, Penn State, Rutgers, Minnesota, Northwestern makes the dance.
Wiscy, OSU, and Washington will be bubbilicious IMO. Maybe Iowa too. Think 10 teams will get inI think every team other than Oregon, Maryland, Penn State, Rutgers, Minnesota, Northwestern makes the dance.
Did not see the preseason hype with Oregon and WisconsinWiscy, OSU, and Washington will be bubbilicious IMO. Maybe Iowa too. Think 10 teams will get in
I think as of right now there are 4 teams that will get top 4 seeds in the tournament (Michigan, Purdue, Illinois, MSU), 4 teams that are going to be a 5-8 seed (Indiana, Nebraska, UCLA, Iowa), and 4 teams that will be bubbly (USC, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Washington).
That leaves 2 teams that felt like they should have been better (Oregon, Northwestern) and 4 teams that are just awful this year (Maryland, Minnesota, Rutgers, Penn State).
I don't think the B10 has done well enough in top non-conference games to spread the "cred" over 12 teams. I think teams will need to be at least 500 in conference to make it. That likely means 10 teams, and maybe an 11th who gets a play in game.I think every team other than Oregon, Maryland, Penn State, Rutgers, Minnesota, Northwestern makes the dance.
The B1G has 11 teams in the top 40 in KenPom (10 in the top 35). So I could see 11 making it most. I'm not sure about Iowa or Indiana. I've got a feeling both coaches will get pushed around in the B1G this year. The Hoosiers already lost at Minnesota.
Really hope we get a three seed or above. Our non-conf record should not be a drag cuz both UConn and Bama look like 3 seed above to me. Just need to perform in B1G.I think as of right now there are 4 teams that will get top 4 seeds in the tournament (Michigan, Purdue, Illinois, MSU), 4 teams that are going to be a 5-8 seed (Indiana, Nebraska, UCLA, Iowa), and 4 teams that will be bubbly (USC, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Washington).
