That's where everyone is at... this year and every year... it's the name of the game. You root for teams around you in the standings to fall - in what year has that never been the case???
We are not rooting so we can win a conference championship. That’s the difference. We are out of it so just rooting to go higher up for the tournament but no idea if that makes our matchups better or worse.

There is more to it when you aren’t looking at a 1 or 2 seed.

JMHO, but how does Indiana play Malik Reneau only 21 minutes in this game - 6th most on the team? I think he's their best player. I know he was injured, but he played 30" against the Michigan and 29" against MSU the past 2 games.
Is this “the Michigan’s” #1 fan? :)

They are an Adidas template. I’ve seen Nebraska and Kansas wearing similar models.

They are really, really bad.
I just was coming to see if this was a thing. T A&M have a version on, Adidas is doing these schools dirty. These have all been hideous.

The years that we don't lose to NW, USC, Rutgers and Nebraska (at the time when they were getting blown out by everyone).

If we win 3 of 4(should have had all 4), we'd be 12-3 in conference and destiny in our own hands. Instead..... we're close the being eliminated from getting a double bye.

This is kind of off topic. I have watched UCLA play 4 times this year. 3 since Cronin went off on his "soft" rant. It seems to me that the coach's pre-game instruction is that: "the refs can't call them all, foul early and foul often". The Bruins are the most thug team in the league. I will not be surprised that before the season is over a major brawl happens in one of their games. Cronin seems to be taking full advantage of just how bad the refs in this league are. The problem they will have in the second season is that such antics will not be tolerated. Cronin also seems to whine like a little girl when things don't go to his liking.

I think winning the conference tourney is a very good possibility.... and with that moving up to a 3 or 4 seed in the nc2a tourney is very possible

Yes, but we are putting more pressure for these outcomes, though. Frankly, I never like rooting for Indiana, especially with uncertain, and somewhat limited benefits.

Brad and others have said we are built for March.🤞

Just hoping we are humming by then.

The downside of slowing down the tape on reviews is that the movement looks way more exaggerated and intentional. Even a flagrant one would have been a tough call IMO.

Former Illini on former Illini foul. Clark charge into Goode. Called out on the broadcast.
IU lost because of the Illini factor. UCLA's Clark was 4/5 on 2 ptrs. and 3/3 on 3 ptrs. IU's Goode led their team in scoring with 16 pts., but was 2/9 on 3 ptrs.

Terrible call against Wisc. Only at Purdue. I thought the foul should have been on Renn.

So the original foul called goes away? I thought if it was called it stays even when a bad call? Upon review we uncalled a foul and call a flagrant a a different player? Must be the 3 bald refs, see how they run

Watching Arkansas vs Texas A&M... how did Johnell Davis turn into this in only one season? He looked like a virtually unstoppable big lead guard all of last season.

Must have cashed that NIL check early. I agree that someone else must have body snatched him.

They’ve been auto F2s this year for any shot to the groin regardless of intent and it’s getting out of control
The rules on groin shots are bad. Basically, the officials have to be certain the contact was unintentional. So you have to “prove a negative” as someone else said last week. Good luck selling that to a coach.

Groin shots need to be treated like any other flagrant foul.
