Wake was really the lone game you could say they PROBABLY got outplayed, as they lead for the majority of 2H, had a layup to win it.

PSU and TCU -- while they were close to losing both -- Michigan controlled the game mostly throughout.

Truth is, you will have to be on your A+ game to beat them. Purdue clearly isn't in that first half. And it isn't just shooting -- they look small and unathletic.
are we also gonna forget that northwestern was up 16 on them in the second half. they are good. very good but I don't think you need A+ to beat them if you are a good team. if you are bad then you do

Dent plays with zero urgency. All he does is dribble out on the perimeter--- where he cant shoot. No attempts to penetrate.

Sparty up by 21. 18-0 run. AWFUL showing so far by UCLA
Finally he penetrates and scores. Ends 8 minute UCLA scoring drought.

To be fair you could replace Michigan with basically any team and this statement is true. When Michigan does it, you get laughers. Honestly can't believe this game was as close as it was

"Can't let Clark get loose" (Skyy's played twice in 2 months and hasn't had a big game since then)

I think MSU is safe, guy

Particularly when Fears is hitting 3 3's in half.

TKR 27 points on 26 shots = 1.04 PPP

Michigan 39 points on 23 mostly wide open 3s because Purdue was in rotation all night = 1.7 PPP

If I were in the presser I would ask Painter about both strategies because the math doesn’t seem to math.

The difference between Michigan and Illinois in the Big Ten right now is that our defense came back to earth a bit in conference play and their offense came back to earth a bit in conference play. I am pretty sure they aren't going to smoke us in Champaign, but right now I don't think we can beat them without a severe improvement in defensive intensity.

Really, really don't want to be in Florida's side of the bracket
I don't know. I'm still not quite sold on them yet. Part of the reason is because I don't think the SEC is very good this year. I can't see any team outside of Florida making to the second weekend.

Also I wish some of our fans would stop saying 'I don't want to see whatever team in our bracket'. Trust and believe those teams don't want to see us in their bracket. We have a very very good team people. Have some confidence. Illinois matches up very well with any team in the country.

I will say too…had Purdue really righted the ship or did they just get lucky and get an F minus Nebraska effort for about 25 minutes?

Feel like we’ve drawn a disproportionate share of A games this year. How many tough fallaways did Smith hit against us? And how many TKR floaters bounced around the rim and rolled in? There is a world where those 2 shoot a mere 50% from the field and we have an even more impressive win than Michigan.

you could for sure make a case with their erratic guards, you'd take your chances.

I, cant speak for all fans who say that, so ill speak for me even though you didn't address me specifically. Mostly just preferences on matchups - when we dominate the glass, we dominate the matchup, and Florida has an elite frontcourt and rebounding team.

I'm quite high and confident in this team. Take a peek at previous comments 😉

UCLA and USC play each other twice between now and the end of the season…..I guess we will soon find out which one wants a spot in the NCAA tourney
