UConn playing their way out of a top 2 seed, which tracks with their efficiency of late, they just haven't been as good as the other elite teams for a while now, and having them as a 1 seed was mostly out of respect for their 2024 run than anything they'd done this season.

Gonna need a regular season win out and probably a btt championship game appearance and I’m not sure even that pushes us up without other teams losing.

I think Arizona/michigan/duke all would need three additional regular season losses. UConn probably one more. Then you’re contending with teams like ISU/Kansas/Houston which I think a win out by any of those teams probably seals it for them over us.

It’s not impossible, but frankly I think a share of the btt regular season title is more realistic.

Not if I'm a big time coach after a game who should expect lots of people (reporters, etc) to do that asking for after game comments.

And even if I'm not a big time coach, I'm not going to be assaulting someone just because I don't like their behavior

Well, Keaton had 46pts on 17 shots @ #5 Purdue.

Acuff, while absolutely phenomenal, has 45pts on 26 shots. This is also an OT game.

The final numbers:

Acuff today: 49pts on 27 shots = 1.81 pointer per shot attempt

Wagler against Purdue: 46pts on 17 shots = 2.71 points per shot attempt

I promise I'm not trying to taint Acuff's game -- he was absolutely incredible. Probably the second greatest performance all year.

Just trying to put into perspective what we saw a few weeks ago.
