Good hard fought game. Good guys won. Bring UConn back to the pack. Pitino gets career win.
I just don’t think UConn is that good. They’ve beaten up a bad Big East, and we played our worst game of the season against them.

We win by 8-10 on a neutral court if we play again.

Keaton played 14 minutes in that game. We're clearly a different team now.
100%! In had forgotten about Keaton's foul troubles in the UConn game. Despite Keaton having almost no impact in that game -- and the Illini going 6-29 from three -- they were still within 7 with about 2:30 left to play when UConn grabbed two offensive rebounds that ended with a 3-pointer. I wouldn't mind as rematch on a Monday night in April.

Yes. Was in all likelihood a fake rally, but we were close to putting some real game pressure on them when they got that goofy 4 point play that shouldn’t have been. Game was closer than the final score, even in our worst game of the year and before we were us.

Here is UConn's schedule. Their biggest wins are at Kansas (which still may be a really, really good win by the end of the season), a two-point home win against BYU, and our game on a neutral court that's their version of the United Center.

They're good - it's not like I"m saying they would be a .500 team if they weren't in the Big East. But I think their schedule is making them look better than they really are. Their three hardest games of the season before the Big East tournament are at Villanova, home against St. John's, and home against Seton Hall. They don't have a great chance to really bolster their resume.

What concerns me is that UConn's reputation and the early season head to head will put them ahead of us at the end of the season if it's close at all between the two teams.

We also got the worst games of the season from multiple players. I do give credit to UConn for their defense on that front, but I agree that the scheme is different. Brad was very much still trying to find the right combination of guys. Petrovic had hardly played, and I think got more minutes because everyone else had been ineffective.

Go Tar Heels. Duke loss at Chapel Hill is possible. Loss to Michigan and in ACC tourney would givr them 4 losses😎😎😎

Wisky used 4 fouls in the final :10 of the half. The Loosier fans were having none of it. The only logical ending for this game is that the "Boosiers" lose by 5 😁

Uconn is good but it'd be a close game
