I tend to believe Big Ten refs are just comically incompetent, as it’s pretty far fetched to think they all just have favorite teams they fan girl for and others they hate for no reason.
If I were a Wisconsin fan right now, that belief would be very much tested. There is absolutely no way to spin this other than officials handing a game to Indiana.

Indiana has to be the luckiest team ive ever watched. Almost a joke. If that had been Illinois on the losing end, id never watch basketball again.

I cannot remember a more blatant example of the referees just deciding one team was going to win the game. An embarrassment.
The offensive foul, I could maaaaaaaaaaaaybe see. He did extend the arm, but the defender sure seemed to be physical enough to where it should have been a defensive foul.
The foul on Wilkerson, no way. He went flailing into the lane, completely out of control and got bailed out.

I find Iowa State’s branding so gimmicky and cringe, lol … it’s like deep down they are insecure about their colors and team name. They obviously got rid of their old Cyclone logo and replaced it with something more minimalist, and it seems like they’re regularly doing like a white out or black out even though they have two non-accent colors. It also seems like they’re always jumping on the next trend with some “sleak” font or look. It’s why I hate the 1LL1NO1S branding, as it’s putting us in that group. Identityless.

While the calls were a bit suspicious, Wisconsin literally just had to wait for someone to foul them to go to the line and extend their lead. They blew that game.
I’ve said the last 2 years Purdue has a much smaller margin of error than appears, and anything less than about a B game from Smith and they are vulnerable to any decent team. Proving to be the case today even against a bad and undermanned Oregon team though they have Bittle back.
Purdue has got at Nebraska, at Iowa, and home Michigan, the three games following this... Highly recommend winning this one.

Yup we will see more and more of this and already have within multiple sports.
