I'm not sure how good of a coach the guy from UIC, but he needs to quit trapping. That may be their bread and butter, but the UNI guards are passing perfect out of it, one swing pass and a wide open three. Then, when they do miss, it's incredibly difficult to rebound when trapping, especially if the shot it long, so they're getting second chances when they do miss. They're shooting 70% from the field.

UIC has the far superior athletes. Go man and let the chips fall where they may.

Missing the boat on Dusty May when he would've walked there to take the job in favor of another year of Mike Woodson is a generational bag fumble.
Similar when we did not hire Sampson in 2003. Kelvin would have killed it at Illinois. Unlike Weber, Sampson would have continued Self's blue chip recruiting.

Northern Iowa defeats UIC 84-69 to win the Missouri Valley Conference tournament. It is the Panthers' 10th NCAA Tournament appearance, their first since 2016.

They also became the first team in that tournament's history to win 4 games in 4 days.

High Point defeats Winthrop 91-76 to win the Big South tournament championship. It is the Panthers' 2nd tournament appearance after having made it for the first time last season.

I'm conflicted because I've already bought tickets for session 6 for the first two games on Friday... But I want Nebraska to lose so we can get the #3 seed and play in session 2.. I'll let my fandom beat out my wallet

MSU effort against SCUM is phenomenal. IZZO always gets his teams to play well in March....Wish I could say the same about our coach

Once the NCAA Tournament starts it is going to be interesting to see how games are called as compared to the B10 games. I watch a ton of B10, a lot of SEC hoops and others too in my 3 tv man cave, lol! While we can play physically in games like today, Mich, MSU, and Tenn. I do think the NCAA typically the uber physical play is not as prevalent like in the B10 SEC. I think if it is called a little tighter with how we play, shoot free throws it could really be beneficail even though we can play that way when needed. I would like to hear thoughts about what BU or others may feel if there us a difference in "whistles" from conferences and the NCAA Tourney.
