We’re going to have to play Michigan in all likelihood one way or another so at least if they beat us get a little extra rest. Nothing has changed about needing to win one and then feeling good about getting the 2 seed

I'm not overly excited to see Illinois play next week. I'm getting 2021/22 vibes. Mixture of injuries/illness have you playing less than your A -Game. Get paired up with a team that has came on late (Indiana then-Wisconsin now).

That game will tell us a lot about who we are heading into the tourney.

Agreed. The team looks sort of done.

So, so much ISO. We have no faith in our high ball screen offense. It was basically give the ball to Mirk in the high post.

Wagler looks like a shell of himself.

Andrej has a mandatory TO on his first drive of every game. And then shortly after he’ll get his ish packed.

Tomi can’t shoot a j anymore. Z can’t rebound vs. people 3 inches shorter (just gets bullied out of position - saw this prominently vs. Morez).

Wagler had back issues. Two of our prominent guards can’t shoot the basketball (Bos, Andrej). Our best player has back issues. Our best big can’t make a 3 or post up (I know the latter is by design). Our other big is taking side step 3s and cannot box out or secure a rebound. Hummer missing wide open 3s with time.

If not for Mirk, I have no idea what we would have done today to beat a B1G basement team.

Love Jake. Always brings it too.

All of this screams a scrappy R64 win where we pull away late vs. a 15 seed. Then we get out hustled/physical’ed by an athletic SEC/Big 12 team.

Happy to eat crow.

Well, at least he has moved past empty words and is just owning the fact that he really doesn't care about accountability.
