does anyone know which three teams will prevail for the double bye if Michigan Wisconsin Maryland and Purdue all tie for second with six Ls? I just don't want Purdue to have the motivation to play us.

Have they banned court storming?
Michigan and Wisky would get it I think. Michigan was 2-1 against the other two. Wisky was 1-1. Purdue was 1-2.
Forget to write maryland in my post 🤦‍♂️.

If Purdue beats us, and Michigan loses to Mich St, these four teams will tie at 6 losses: Purdue, Wisconsin, Maryland, Michigan. Was just wondering which three get the double bye if that happens.

Ole Miss not doing us any favors… add that win to their resume. They’re in the thick of the 7-8 seed range.. ugh.

Mizzou coming down the earth now a bit?

BYU keeps winning….

Only team that’s been doing us favors this week is Kansas 😂

We reallyyyyy need a win on Friday to hold serve on the 7 line and stay alive for a 6…

Purdue would certainly be one of them. They have 2 wins against that pack (MD and Michigan), Wiscy has 1, MD has 2, Michigan has 2.

If they all ended at 6 losses, I believe their records in that pack would be this:

Michigan 2-1
Maryland 2-1
Purdue 2-2
Wisconsin 1-2

Purdue would get the #4, but I’m not sure between Michigan and Maryland who gets 2/3. The next tiebreaker outside of the record within group is the record vs the highest seeded team (MSU), but both of them would have lost their game(s) to the Spartans. Does the next tiebreaker go to their record vs Purdue? If that’s the case, Michigan would get the #2 as they are the only team in that scenario with a win.

Wisconsin would indeed be the odd man out in that scenario.

A more interesting scenario is if Michigan beat MSU and clinched the 2 seed and then you got Purdue, WISC, and MD tying.

All three have a 1-1 record against each other. And for going down the standings to see who has beaten who, neither will have wins over Michigan State, but MD and Purdue have beaten Michigan.

SIU beats Indiana St in the first round of the MVC tourney. They will get a shot a Drake tomorrow. Most people have Drake as an at large, so the MVC will be a bid stealer if someone upsets them.

ISU just tipped off against Missouri St.

I don’t know if it helps us in any way, but does anyone else think it would be fun for Iowa to beat Sparty?
