Nice little 33-8 run for MSU over 8 minutes.
Overwhelming "last home game for Fran at CHA" vibes last night. His wife went over to the bench during a timeout and said something to him, and both she and their daugther where at his postgame presser. In Izzo's presser, he gave his familiar speech about how great a longtime likely-to-be-gone coach is and how the school should "be careful what they wish for."

The point still remains Izzo always pulls this card when a coach is about ready to be fired. It’s not about being upset about a colleague being let go. Everyone know this is very much a results-oriented business.
VCU had a great season but probably won’t earn be playing in March Madness with tonight’s loss. Tough loss in a very back and forth game.
Scratch that. Somehow thought this was the conference championship game.

Valpo survives.
Some Bradley folks I follow mention how the Beacons have two all-Valley players and 11 other guys that probably wouldn't sniff playing time at most other schools in that conference.
With a healthy team on a neutral court I do. That team has a lot of 'me' guys on it. They pass about 3-4 times and then launch almost every possession.
