With a healthy team on a neutral court I do. That team has a lot of 'me' guys on it. They pass about 3-4 times and then launch almost every possession.
Normally fairly even-tempered, Pikiell began his postgame radio interview with three curses after losing to Michigan, then blew it off after the rout at Purdue. He later apologized for his actions, but it's clear this season has taken a real toll.

First NCAA Tournament bid will be clinched tonight when Southeast Missouri State takes on SIU Edwardsville in the Ohio Valley Conference tournament championship in Evansville. Game is set to tip-off at 8:00 PM CT and will air on ESPN2.

SEMO are going for their 2nd tourney bid in 3 years. SIUE will be going for its first NCAA Tournament appearance, having transitioned to D-I in 2008 before becoming a full D-I member in 2011-12.

So assuming Sparty beats Michigan and Maryland and Wisconsin both take care of business that would put those 3 teams tied for second at 14-6. Anyone know how the tiebreakers shake out for who would get the 2 seed in the BTT.

I think UCLA will beat USC so I’m penciling us in for the 7 seed which means, assuming we win Thursday, we would play the 2 seed Friday.

Maryland is by far the team I want to face the least, especially with no Morez or Morez ramping back up. Would most like to face Michigan. Wisconsin is very good but we faced them at our most injured/depleted and when Tonje was unconscious and we still hung around with them for 30ish minutes.

Here are a list of games that could affect our seeding today. I bolded who we want to win, in order to help our seeding out the most.

St Johns @ Marquette

UK @ Mizzou

Miss St @ Arkansas

Vandy @ Georgia

Iowa St @ K State

Louisville @ Stanford

UConn @ Seton Hall

Maryland @ NW

Arizona
@ Kansas

Florida @ Ole Miss

Clemson @ Va Tech

Creighton @ Butler

Houston
@ Baylor

BYU @ Utah

There is also USC vs UCLA. If tOSU beats Indiana then we won't get a chance at a Q1 win in the first round. If that's the case, I would rather see USC win and give us the 6 seed in the BTT because we could potentially jump UCLA in NCAA tournament seeding. I also would rather avoid a desperate Indiana team in Indy in the first round.

If Indiana wins against tOSU, we would get a Q1 opportunity as a 7 seed in the BTT. If that's the case, I want UCLA to beat USC.

Maryland locks in the 2 seed with a win. Michigan would be the 3.

How bad would OSU need to stomp the Loosiers to move our win vs them back into Q1 territory?

I'm always happy to root against IU, but maybe this adds some flavor to it?

Been watching Marquette lately.

Refresh my memory, did we actively pursue Shaka Smart back when we were looking, was it to replace Groce or Bruce?

Wisconsin getting all they can handle today

Penn State 10-17 from 3, leads 65-62 w 7 mins left

I'm torn. I so want Purdue's unblemished run of double-byes in the BTT to be broken. And I so want PSU to beat Bucky in Kohl and deny them a double-bye.

So, Wisky losing causes a wrinkle. If USC beats UCLA now..it bumps Illinois to a 7 with a second round matchup against Maryland.

If UCLA wins, Illinois gets a 6 seed with Michigan waiting.

I think I prefer USC to lose to UCLA now. But I know that's not ideal for the quad system. Surely USC wouldn't be hurt much by losing at UCLA.

If UCLA wins, I don’t understand how Illinois ends up at the 6 seed.
