It may be recency bias...but they tend to choke on the final regular season game. Their last game against Nebraska (horrible) led to a championship for us

Northwestern loses at Maryland, so in order to make the B1G tournament, they need one of the following outcomes:
- Rutgers win over Minnesota
- UCLA win over USC
- Nebraska win over Iowa
If none of those happen, Northwestern loses out on the 4 way tiebreaker with Rutgers/Iowa/Nebraska and would finish 16th.
