Congratulations, we played ourselves squarely into the GameAbove Sports Bowl vs. Toledo conversation with that one. Sorta only leaves to be answered one question, whether or not that’s still good enough for this program.
So frustrated. Will be a very long time that our talent and schedule line up like they did this year. Under performed. What’s crazy is this is not a bad year relative to what we are use to.

Did we really underperform, or is this just the real Illinois team?
I’m not remembering seeing an opponent’s fans storm the field after beating Illinois.
Nowhere close...we've had consecutive years, recently, that we didn't win 7 combined. This, to me, is the first BB year where we have under-performed. The sky is not falling
If this is how we play with all these returnees and a chance to get to 8 wins against possibly the worst team in the conference, I'm both ready to turn the page on this group of players (and whatever coaches move on/are moved on) and also a bit nervous about what comes next.
