Pretty pathetic showing tonight in all phases of the game. Not sure how one can reasonably justify either Miller or Henry being back next year. Not good enough, just not good enough. Not sure how we could come out this poorly in all 3 phases for the 2nd time this season and yet we did. That's on the players and that's on Bret too, but man, when we can't put together any actual functional defensive scheme or OL blocking scheme for multiple weeks this season, you need new blood there, plain and simple. Awful awful game.
Two unsportsmanlike penalties (the second appeared a bit of a punch), ejected, jogged back to the locker room after having a talk with Bret.
Yup. Its time for Henry to leave the Bielema nest and see if he can fly on his own.

We looked like a team (and staff) who thought they'd just show up and win. This could have been a whole lot worse too. Three fumbles that we recovered and got back, probably three dropped picks by Wisky too.
Terrible game plan. Especially offensively. You can't keep running deep dropbacks when you can't block anybody. No screens, no slants, no quick passes to the edges. Just drop back and flail around or hand offs up the gut for 1-2 yards.
Bottom line, the holes in recruiting were on full display tonight. Punter, RB's, both lines.

This 1000%. We completely blew it. Had all the hype we wanted and now we’re back to being a joke of a program.
Will take a long time to earn that back.

That’s disappointing for sure but the overall record is what I thought it would be.
Bret's press conference after Washington is burned into my brain. I think it's more likely than not that Henry isn't even here for the bowl game.
That's two road night games where we were deers in headlights, sluggish, slow, etc. Weird.

Good coaches take what they have and build a system that works around their skill set. Not all of our coaches are capable of that. Good men, but time to mix things up.

Not much. Got manhandled all night and then got tossed for slapping and pushing after plays were over. Pretty much an empty jersey start to finish.
Yes. It has. This had the makings of a no worse than 10 win team. The defense was putrid all year. I never can understand why we were playing receivers 10 yards off the LOS. We should have been in their face knocking them off their route. Lots of questions on what this program is. Where is it going? Bret has a lot to answer for. This is all on him.

I disagree still. Who thought they were guaranteed 10wins? I don't remember... We were considered a dark horse for the playoff. Thats exactly what we've been until Wisconsin just made us look awful. You must have been really drinking the kool aid hard pre season.
I don't think Discher should be fired. We had a couple bad games, but I think the absolute biggest issue has been our long snapper being able to deliver a ball above the ankles. Hilariousky Kreutz has had the same issues getting it to Luke though that's a separate issue. In any case, snapping has been a major problem this year and has been one of the primary reasons for a lot of our struggles with blocking and timing. I think it we replace our long snapper and center, a lot of these problems will clear up.
