First drive Aaron Henry. Never see L Hansen snap low. The O line enough said. The Nwestern coaches saw what to do against us. End around. We win Saturday on to the pin stripe bowl.

We looked like a team (and staff) who thought they'd just show up and win. This could have been a whole lot worse too. Three fumbles that we recovered and got back, probably three dropped picks by Wisky too.
I mean if we recover their fumble on the Jacas sack we probably win. One play can't lose you a game but it can absolutely win you a game. Would've been a huge momentum swing in their own territory vs just the typical punt.

Changes will be made this offseason.

That being said, a lot of spoiled in here.
We came into the season ranked 12 AP and top ten in many others. We have not looked the part in any games against top teams (except maybe USC) and this one tonight was awful against an awful team. That's disappointing to a fan base and donors that have done their part to support the team the past two years. I don't think spoiled is the term, but disappointment is understandable.

Henry, Discher and Miller need to be finding new jobs this offseason … Period … End of story …

Absolutely pathetic …

And to say we should be happy with this ? GMAFB … Top 15 FB team … That’s the expectations this year … The expectations the PEOPLE IN THE PROGRAM set …

FAILURE …

And a LOT of people are investing their hard earned money into this and when the ROI isn’t there … They’re allowed to call it out …

These aren’t kids anymore … Stop protecting them … They want to cash these checks and put out crap effort and not care in return ??? Not how it works …

Changes need to be made … Bret knows this … He’ll get it done …

But holy cow is this freaking frustrating and just flat out UNACCEPTABLE !!!!!!!!

Yup. Its time for Henry to leave the Bielema nest and see if he can fly on his own.

Going into this season I would not have bet that I'd be looking forward to a Bear's game as a pick me up to an Illinois game. Think falling off the the college football playoff over expectations impacted this team. Fire seems missing now and they are just playing out the season.

I don't think Discher should be fired. We had a couple bad games, but I think the absolute biggest issue has been our long snapper being able to deliver a ball above the ankles. Hilariousky Kreutz has had the same issues getting it to Luke though that's a separate issue. In any case, snapping has been a major problem this year and has been one of the primary reasons for a lot of our struggles with blocking and timing. I think it we replace our long snapper and center, a lot of these problems will clear up.

What does Discher bring to the table ??? Genuine question …

Our special teams isn’t great … TE recruits said they don’t have a good relationship with him and have gone elsewhere … Our TE production ??? Mediocre is a NICE way to describe it …

If we wanna be a big boy program … We need to go get someone better …

And I like the guy … Seems like a great dude …

But this 💩 ain’t cutting it …

Did you have season tickets before this year? Obviously I am as disappointed as everyone because it seemed like we were finally getting what we waited so long for, but I have watched so much bad football that I am not going to jump ship now
I’ll be rethinking mine. It’s becoming apparent I have no interest in repeated “blowout football”, where we beat ourselves. Not fun. It’s supposed to be fun, right?

Note however that I truly enjoyed the entire OSU game, despite the loss. We played competitively and lived up to our potential. Well done guys!

Looking back, I shut off the TV before the end of the Indiana, Washington, and Wisconsin games . . . not because we were losing, but because we played sloppy disengaged football —- far below our potential.

Hopefully we won’t do the same at Northwestern. I’d be tempted to bug out pretty early after three of these manure shows already. Maybe I’m not cut out to be a fan? Seriously.

The preseason expectations were a little out of hand(I think I saw someone on here say they thought this was a ten win team, minimum...preseason I don't think any team is guaranteed 10 wins...) and I've always maintained that back-to-back 8-win seasons is a worthwhile accomplishment for this program in itself and if we can get there that would be a successful season. So for me at least, my disappointment is not that we lost our 4th game of the season. It's the *how* we lost. I was not expecting us to look like that at any point this season. And if you were, maybe a warning to the rest of us next time?

All this talk of getting rid of Henry, Discher, and Miller (all correct), but what about the strength and conditioning coach? These guys are visibly slower than most opponents and considerably physically weaker....we need a better off season strength and conditioning program, its embarrassing watching these guys get bullied and burnt every week.

Yeah, I did. I’m not like a 20-year guy or anything though. I’ll re-up because it’s my thing with a family member and the memories at the tailgate are worth it.

Anyway…

I hear you - I do - but we’re in a different world now. Now that we’re paying players with revenue share this is 100% dollar-driven only. Wanna know how I know?

DIA just took their first 10-win season in over a decade and used it to bend fans over and shake every last M-F-ing dime out of our wallets via that reseat loyalty point cash grab. They just sold the naming rights to memorial stadium for 100MM. If that’s the game we’re playing, it’s hard to tell a fan base that we need to pump more money in until Bielema shows he’s gonna value winning over loyalty because the DIA certainly values revenue over fan appreciation.

- Enough saying Aaron Henry needs 30 chances to figure it out.

- Enough letting Kaden Feagin try to figure out how to be a lead back when we all know every dang D1 team wanted him on the other side of the ball.

- Enough letting Bart Miller’s crap show continue year in and year out.

- Enough letting Barry Jekyll and Hyde around when obviously tempo is the thing that’s worked all damn season.

Bret is 100% the man to lead this team to the upper echelon of college football but if his loyalty and patience keeps getting in the way of us winning I’m not gonna be shocked if people turn on him because he’s being stubborn.

I know not 1 damn thing about S&C, but how much money do we have to throw at Adam Fletcher to get him a staff under him to lead strength and conditioning for both?
