Wisconsin 48, Illinois 3 POSTGAME

I'd smile if Illinois beat Northwestern.

Too early to tell with Lovie. He might turn out to be a heck of a coach. Right now not enough to work with.

that was rough. Some miscues and a good ol fashion run beat down by Wisconsin. I hope our boys can bounce back and stay positive.

Lovie has turned around bad team and made them into winners at the NFL level. Interesting to see what impact players they bring in next year.

Yikes, only 4 responses in the postgame. I guess there's not much to say, though - we're just not remotely close to anything resembling an upper-level Big Ten team at this point. I guess we'll see in 2018 or 2019 if we can at least develop into something competitive at that level, but that's a looooong way off.

One of my many questions after not watching all the game is what the hell does Wisconsin's S&C staff do differently with their O-linemen than we have been doing ? The difference in the lines really stood out.

They start out with better recruits. That helps a lot.

Guess there's not much to say about this one. Thought the game plan in the first half really set George up to fail badly. Not sure why we thought we could throw long passes against them with a QB that has serious accuracy issues. Glad they took him out in the second half just to keep from destroying any confidence he may have left.

That's a good question

Nebraska used to have an unbelievable on the offensive line.

How do teams do that?????

Bad beat down. Silver lining was our running backs. Something to build on
