Officiating atrocious, but the scoring droughts are just infuriating and ultimately what lost the game.

Gotta feel for the players. Outplayed them fair and square but the B1G needs another team in the tournament so the refs did everything they could to make it happen.

I know he wont, but man I'd love to see Groce get himself fined in the postgame and just lay into that refereeing. You know other coaches in the league will be sending him thank you texts if he does

Can anyone tell me when the last time Groce got A) warned by the refs to calm down or B) literally T'd up by a ref?

The way the refs were calling this game, it just blows my mind that he didn't at least get warned. I would have been at least T'd up if not thrown out.

What good does it do after the game? I'd like for once to see him do something during the game itself, maybe it might just fire up his team or, Lord forbid, get a few calls to go our way. I never see it happen.

Is it really worth it to get T'd up?

No point in making enemies.

He absolutely went ballistic after the no call on Malcolm down low preceding the phantom 5th fall call on Mav.

He doesn't get T'd because the officials know exactly how ridiculous the foul discrepancy was and how one sided it was. Can't T a guy up when it's that atrocious.

Exactly what I was thinking. I'm actually going to be a little upset if he doesn't.

For sure. He needs to lose his mind in the postgame.

And Nunn showed a great deal of restraint by not kicking TV Ted in the face when was showing off on that call. Sticking his finger in Nunn's crotch while he's pointing. What a bunch of BS.

I thought he was waiting until the game was assuredly lost, Maybe in the post game presser.

We lost because we didn't score for a long period - but they were helped a lot by bad calls and inconsistent calls.

And he was wrong - Nunn never touched the ball. Of course that would have just left the Wisconsin player with the ball, but he still got the call wrong.

I'm absolutely amazed and proud of our team in the amount of restraint they show, and how little they complain to the refs. It's Groce's job to get the point across to refs, and he absolutely should have got himself teed up.

yea I stopped watching it when Finke took that charge but ended up being overturned. Even the announcers called it a blocking foul with that crappy camera angle of theirs even though Finke's heals were up over the line. The announcers were then unsure when the camera angle showed otherwise but have to jump on the Anti-Illini bandwagon.
