We are in need of a massive talent upgrade. Underwood coaching can only do so much.

Trent Frazier is amazing. This summer he should work on his right hand.

Frustrating to watch this Illini team battle and play so hard against osu and msu, but can't seem to beat a lowly badger team at home.

No evidence at all that this team will win more than 15 games next season.

New system, New coaches, New players (freshman).

It's a lot to do in one year...that said, I think with some key recruits (you know who they are), we have a lot to look forward too.

Black back will get some B1G mentions.
Frazier should be up for freshman of the year as well as some B1G mentions next year.
Smith, well lets hope the sullen, hand waving, whoa is me routine goes away with some maturity next year.
Williams, I really believe he comes out of his shell.
Finke, Who knows, maybe he can Grad at Akron? Sadly we need the height.
Jordan, Will need to become the Alstork defender next year.
Lucas, not sure if this kid gets back to us relying on him at all.
Ebo, He will be making a big jump next year I believe
Ayo, Will come in from Day 1 and with Frazier will be electrifying point.

Effort is there, commitment and buy in is coming, and the talent level just has us dependent on a stud guard and an undersized 4 player.

We are a bad Illini team... A rebuilding Illini team... Wisconsin is on the way down, we will be moving upwards over the next few seasons.

It’s probably not fair to pin a loss on 1 player. Particularly this loss where only 2 guys played well and one played decent, but I put this one 100% on Kipper. He was clearly picked to stop Happ or at least slow him down and was just an open door. Think Happ scored the first 3-4 baskets, all on layups. Set the tone for the entire game. Kipper was so bad he didn’t even see the floor in the second half. We have to double Happ and now Happ finds their shooters. We don’t have an answer.

Kipper plays even a shred of defense so we don’t have to cheat and I think we win this game easy. I think this one is on him. Rant over.

I believe Penn State is going to House us on Sunday.

The one thing that stands out is that Underwood said Ebo is the most athletic player on the team....that there says enough about why this team is 2-9 in big ten play.
