The effects of a short bench was plain as day toward the end of the game. Totally out of gas. Mirk's 2 missed free throws in OT were lucky to make it to the basket.

Yep. Refs and injuries and fatigue and apparently even our lame-!!! crowd are out of anyone’s hands … but FTs must be better. I know some misses are related to fatigue, but you just can’t go 11 for 19.
Frustrating loss. Resorted to some of the same stuff we saw in previous years offensively down the stretch. Quick threes and hero ball. Robbie Hummel was begging for some post up plays to Tomi.

Id argue it’s on the DIA as much as the Krush for nothing allowing all lower bowl to be students. Disconnecting most of the students by putting them in the top 5 rows of the stadium kills the mob mentality of the section

Petro can run the offense to spell Wagler for rest and when Mirk is being a turnover machine. There is video of this man running offense. On D, he can’t be worse than 6’9, 7’1, and 7’2 guys guarding them.
I watched Lee play against Dybantsa and while he got his and then some, none of these guys were Dybantsa.
There are ways to play them. Even the preferred walk ins are athletic enough to guard better than what we are seeing.
The guard depth or lack of is on the staff. If the guys we have are unplayable, that is still in the staff.
Last thing before I call it a night and forget about this game until March.
