I haven't read the whole thread (because I just can't put myself through that) but DJ F@*%head needs to be fired. That held ball call (attempted call) can only be described as so egregious that he:

1) doesn't understand the rule, or
2) was so eager to screw us that he got caught up in a misperceived opportunity to do so.

Bad calls were not why we lost, but it was just ridiculous tell from that guy.

Agreed. Watching Kansas and Arizona the other night, I was impressed with how engaged the KU students were. We need about 10-15 Krush leaders to set the tone for the rest. And put down your damn phones!

You’re right, the Orange Slush is a joke of its old self relating to court side activities. Are they still heavily involved in raising money? Hopefully someone takes a hard look at correcting this problem, or they might as well get more season ticket holders in their spots. Btw, this didn’t start happening this year.

Would all of you naysayers on here rather have played Anrej play and possibly make his injury worse, or do what coach did and have him for the remaining games? I could care less where they finish in the polls or big ten as long as they are at peak physical condition for the tournaments.

I rewatched the film this AM … Absolutely brutal …

Something I forgot to say last night but after watching the film this AM … Z has to be better … PERIOD …

Also - Ben doesn’t get enough credit … Kid makes mistakes for sure but he freaking battles … And his improvement on defense is just unreal …

First as a student I did my time supporting the team. Four years undergrad and two years grad school plus a year in between where I drove down on weekends to the games. Always had season tickets. Always showed up and my vocal cords were hoarse afterwards. Second, I was at the Nebraska game in Lincoln week before last doing the same thing. Third, my wife and I make the 7 hour trip to Champaign at least once a year specifically to see a game. Not easy with work and kids and life but we make the effort.

So, respectfully, your comment is misplaced.

Some of that MSU home crowd atmosphere helps raise the temperature in the pan for that home cookin. And Mackey and the Phog, etc

The medical staff isn’t going to force a kid to sit with a slightly sprained ankle …

The hard part of the whole thing for me is that I guess I just got used to guys toughing it out … Trent played hurt ALL. THE. TIME. … DMFW played hurt … I mean those guys were warriors and I thought that was the standard … EDGs …

Deciding to sit and rest it after playing on it the whole MSU game and practicing … Need this win … At least try and give it a go and if you can’t then hey you tried at least … Just doesn’t sit well with me that there wasn’t even an attempt …

And people can disagree and that’s fine …
