|5) Stay on topic, do not be repetitive, limit your replies, use quotes correctly|
|When responding to a thread, keep the discussion on topic.
If you have a point to make in a thread, make it, do not repeat your point over and over again.
If you use the "quote" feature to respond when replying in a thread, trim out any unnecessary text from the quote. Most of the time it is not necessary to include the entire quote when replying.
It is not necessary to respond to most or every single post in a thread. If you absolutely must reply to more than one post in a thread, make use of the "multi-quote" feature so your reply fits neatly into one single post.
If you break the "quote" feature in your reply, use the "edit" button to fix your post-
|6) When discussing an external article|
|When discussing an external article, include the article url if it is available online.
You may not quote any part of external premium content onto the forums. Premium content is external online content that you pay a membership fee to view. (For example, Rivals.com, Scout.com, and ESPN.com have popular premium sports content services.)
It is okay to quote selected excerpts from an external non-premium article, but do not copy the entire article text onto your post.
|7) Personal info|
|Remember this is a public forum, as such it is suggested that members steer clear of providing detailed personal info about yourself (for example, your home address) when posting.
Additionally, do not post personal info about other people.
