Nice win. Getting hot at the right time. Hopefully it carries them to the tourney. I think 12 losses is the limit usually so if they win at least half the remaining, I think they get in.

I don't see why anyone is complaining about our rebounding, really. Wisky missed 36 shots, and got the offensive rebound on 10 of them. That's only a 28% offensive rebounding percentage. The average in D-1 is 32%, and Wisconsin averages 29%. We did fine.

Yet again, people seem to assume that we should prevent the other team from getting any offensive boards... not going to happen.

Here's a number you should be impressed by: we missed 21 shots, but got the offensive board on 7 of them. That's a 33% offensive rebounding percentage against the #3 defensive rebounding team in the nation. (They give up, on average, only 25%).

Stats from BTN: http://www.bigtennetwork.com/sports/...p?GAME_ID=7819

agree, rebounding was fine, if you want to nit pick about last nights performance, there’s not much, but a good start would be those turnovers to start the game.

It looks the the OSU game will be another one I'll miss. It starts 30 minutes before our Sunday worship service, and it falls on Valentine's Day. Darn. Time to fire up the Tivo.

Great game.

I thought the wisky fans might rush the court. It was a historic win. 51-1 against non rated opponents.

The story of the game has to be inside points. Illinois won this catagory 16 - 6. Wisconsin didn't do much to run their offense. They shot a ton of outside shoots and for 3/4th of the game they were hitting those open shots. The final 3 or 4 minutes they went cold and Illinois comes out with a victory. I don't think Bo can be to happy with that. Weber did a nice job of calling time outs when the offense wasn't into flow. Great game overall!

Same thing in the MSU game. He has coached wonderfully recently. And I woudl argue all year to get to this point, the behind the scenes coaching has been great. The rotation of players in and out has been great. The timeout calling excellent and now players are executing.

Thanks bILLINO1S. After enhancing these photos, I've concluded that the upper deck looked strangely sparse

I think it's tape time, unfortunately. Better than nothing. It was really fun watching the orange-out mania last Saturday, though I have to say, the crowd sat back on its hands when MSU came back and turned it into a tug of war.

You aren't a Google celebrity anymore, I see.

Yeah for sure. The seats on the upper right side of the pictures are for the student section. The whole upper deck of the grateful red was empty last night...

I've already contacted MTV to see if I can be on a new show called "North Shore", its like Jersey Shore but colder and in Illinois. That should fix the issue.
