Umm you mean the Thing and the Human Torch. Hulk is grey or green (my fave), depending on how old you are.

If you read closely I was talking about the college TOWNS specifically, not the programs. I was responding to all those posters who are saying kids would not want to live in Lincoln and thus never attend NE.

Many people have lots of idea$ about why Kentucky currently has such a winning program. My point was that those factors outweigh Lexi being a "small town in the middle of a rural state." (i.e. not that different than Lincoln).

SO, if NE's "donors" suddenly decided to replicate Kentucky's recruiting model...

I think Bobo committed to Southern pretty early on. We were maybe still trying to get paige / yogi maybe at the time I think.

Jalen is now technically a recruit from Indiana since he goes to school there. So we finally get one out of the Hoosier State.

He's not on the list because he goes to school in Indiana and he's no longer considered an Illinois prospect.

iirc Bobo was a shooting star as a frosh, and we were all over him. I think he peaked earlier than most, and only grew to 5-10, so our interest tailed off.

OTOH, he's from Peoria and bleeds O&B. Hope he gets a tryout, at least.

Well the above link had his desire for a UI ride on 8/15/10. He committed on 11/6/10. Ferrell committed on 11/24/10 and Paige committed on 1/8/11 so I suppose that is all feasible. My question is whether or not he is fast enough for Groce's system. He didn't look as quick with the ball as I would hope for someone his size in the clips. He does have good court vision and a decent 3.

I think Gavin Schilling is nothing but on the way up, i think he should easily be top 5 on the list. No disrespect to Garrett jr with his father being who he is and his talent, however if I had to chose a player for the Illini right now i'd take Schilling. JMO

Do you know what AAU team Schilling is playing with? I thought somebody said Fire, but I didn't see him on the roster. How would you classify his Junior year?

I'm not sure on his AAU team sorry, however seeing him in person he passed the "eye test" for me. I just see a lot of potential that a staff like Groce's could get out of him.

We know Grocr is looking for a 2012 PG, right? Hard to do better than Bobo at this point. I dont know if Groce has a connection, but Bobo bleeds O & B.

As others have said Jalen is absent because he plays at a prep school in Indiana. Not sure that should take him off of the Illinois prospects since he plays for the Wolves AAU team and lives in Ill.

Was it them who said Brown was the second best player in the state after his championship performance. I seem to remember someone saying that and it would be odd if it was them and they didn't make him number 2. I think Hill is probably better than 4th. He is a unique talent and I expect him to rise through the rankings this summer.
