The 5 minute major against the Hawks for boarding in the middle of the 3rd period was what finished the Hawks.
IMO, a penalty wasn't even warranted, let alone a major. Coyotes played great team D against the Hawks overall, and really got into the Hawks' heads, it seemed to me. They really caused the Hawks' O to look rough under their pressure, and then the Hawks passing was off even when not under pressure. So, kudos to the coyotes for that, and good luck to them in the rest of the SC, as long as they play without Torres. __________________ "I may not be as strong as I think," the old man said, "But I know many tricks and I have resolution." |
