Guess you must have been rounding down big ten champs!

Yeah!!! I'm so glad to be proven wrong. I didn't think they had any chance.

It's so sweet that they finally beat Ohio State!

Men won their first round match today, and take on Auburn tomorrow at 2 PM. I'll be singing the anthem just beforehand, hoping for some more nice weather!

That's a seriously impressive pressure-packed performance. There's nothing quite like being the last guy on the court with the meet on the line.

Grueling 5 hour match, every doubles match was 7-5 at one point (win at 8). Other than Hoh who made quick work, every match was a battle back and fourth. The final set of the match was like the 15th round of a heavyweight fight. Both players at times seemed ready to go down with exhaustion, the fans really seemed to give Bruno a boost at the end he came through. Awesome match to shoot.

Here's the bracket. Looks like the next Illini match is next Fri. May 18 vs winner of today's TxAM vs #1 USC match.

GO ILLINI ! ! ! !

PS: What happened to OSU? Did they not make the tournament, or did they get ousted already?

The answer to your question is in the link... You need to scroll down. They split it into two brackets for some reason

Also, it's extremely obnoxious when you mouse over Ohio St, it says "The Ohio State University".

#16 Illini End Run with 4-0 Loss to #1 USC in Sweet 16

The 16th-ranked Fighting Illini men's tennis team (19-8) ended its run in the NCAA Tournament with a 4-0 loss to three-time defending champion and top-seeded USC (30-1) in the round of 16 Friday morning at the University of Georgia's Dan Magill Tennis Complex. This marks the second straight year Illinois exited the tournament in the third round with a loss to the No. 1 seed.

"We wanted to just come out to play our game," Illini head coach Brad Dancer said. "There's the intimidation factor they bring, having won all the championships in a row. I think the more you focus on that, the worst you're going to play. And maybe that happened to a few guys today, but for the most part, I think USC deserves all the credit there."
